However, international flights between Turkey and Cyprus has resumed as well as other international flights, subject to travel restrictions for passengers from third countries recommended by EU From June 15 , students and academicians arriving from Turkey will be quarantined until tests are performed. After the tests have been completed, these individuals may enter the country, provided they comply with the campus quarantine conditions and without paying the fee. The National Education and Culture Ministry is authorized to conduct inspections. All passengers arriving in the country, including citizens and non-citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, via sea, airports and land crossing points will be evaluated within the framework of the conditions listed in each of the three categories listed below Category A Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, South Korea, Ireland, Switzerland, Iceland, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Hungary, Maldives, Malta, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and New Zealand. Condition: All passengers are required to have taken a PCR test with a negative result within 72-120 hours (three, four or five days) prior to their flight. In other words, passengers must have both taken the test and received results within 72-120 hours of the flight. All passengers in this category will undergo a PCR test at Ercan Airport. Category B conditions apply to passengers from Category A arriving to the TRNC from Turkey. Category B Germany, Andorra, Australia, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, China, Georgia, Croatia, Netherlands, Italy, Lebanon, Monaco, Rwanda, San Marino, Singapore, Tunusia, Turkey, Uruguay, Jordan, the Vatican, Kuwait and United Kingdom (special conditions) Condition: All passengers are required to have taken a PCR test with a negative result within 72-120 hours (three, four or five days) prior to their flight. In other words, passengers must have both taken the test and received results within 72-120 hours of the flight. All passengers in this category will undergo a PCR test at Ercan Airport. Upon arrival, passengers are required to take a second PCR test, administered by the Ministry. As of July 12, 2020, the PCR test will be performed 72 - 120 hours following (on 3rd, 4th and 5th day) entry to the country. Transfer of tourists to hotels from the entrance gates is conducted by the relevant hotel authorities. It is mandatory for tourists to comply with the quarantine conditions in the hotel rooms until the results of their second PCR tests are finalized. Hotel officials must monitor these passengers for full compliance with the quarantine conditions, per the Ministry. If contrary actions are determined, criminal proceedings will be initiated within the scope of the relevant articles of the Criminal Code and the Communicable Diseases Law. In addition, police and Ministry of Health officials are authorized to conduct inspections. It is mandatory for passengers staying in private homes to isolate in their homes until PCR test results are obtained and reported to them. Non-compliance with the specified conditions are subject to criminal proceedings initiated within the scope of the relevant articles of the Criminal Code and the Communicable Diseases Law. Passengers traveling a maximum of 5 days (including the 5th day) in Turkey: if a PCR test with a negative result has been conducted within the past three days in the TRNC, a PCR test administered in Turkey is not necessary for return to the TRNC. Passengers arriving from the UK are required to have taken a PCR test with a negative result within 3-5 days prior to their flight. and submit a home address in TRNC. However, they are subject to a 7-day quarantine and no visitors are allowed at home during this period. Category C (High Risk Countries) United States, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Algeria, Morocco, Philippines, France, India, Iraq, Iran, Spain, Israel, Sweden Condition: All passengers are required to have taken a PCR test with a negative result within 72-120 hours (three, four or five days) prior to their flight. In other words, passengers must have both taken the test and received results within 72-120 hours of the flight. All passengers in this category will undergo a PCR test at Ercan Airport. These passengers must also comply with the 14-day quarantine fees and conditions. At the end of the quarantine period, they will undergo a third PCR test. The cost of the quarantine has been determined as TL 4,400 per person, including accommodation, meals, and a PCR test administered following the quarantine. From June 15 until July 1, 2020, students and academicians arriving from Turkey will be quarantined until tests are performed. After the tests have been completed, these individuals may enter the country, provided they comply with the campus quarantine conditions and without paying the fee. Category B Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Romania, Estonia. Condition: A double PCR test is required for passengers arriving from these countries: one test prior to arrival and a second test upon arrival. Category C (High Risk Countries) United States, Russia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Iran, ltaly, Spain, France. Condition: Passengers from these countries are required to have a PCR prior to arrival.
