In any case, non-essential travel from outside Europe is not allowed. Persons travelling to Slovakia from Austria, Hungary, Czechia, Liechtenstein, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Malta, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Latvia, Denmark, Norway and Iceland are not obliged to quarantine or submit a negative test for COVID-19. Citizens coming from other countries travelling to Slovakia for essential reasons, which are not in the list of the 19 safe countries, will need to prove a negative result of the RT-PCR test, not older than 96 hours. Subsequently, these people are ordered to insulate in the home environment. Persons are also required to undergo a laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19 by five days at the latest. 46th Slovakia Absolute ban: civil flights departing from the territory of another state and landing in the territory of Slovakia are prohibited. No restriction on outgoing flights. Individuals entering the country must pre-register with Slovak authorities and immediately enter mandatory quarantine at a government facility. Isolation in a state quarantine center is mandatory for any form of travel, whether individual or organized. The isolation in the designated facility lasts for the time necessary to carry out the laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19 and, following the finding of a negative result, this person is ordered home isolation for a total cumulative period of 14 days. All passengers including transit passengers must fill in the public health passenger locator form. The pilot responsible for an aircraft is requested to report suspected COVID-19 cases on board, if possible before landing, to the air traffic control.
